The Proper Lovers was born out of a group of individuals with a true passion for music. Ever since coming together in 2000, they have been privileged to share their devotion to music and live performance with fans all over the world. Having overcome many challenges in a demanding industry, they are creating a distinct sound and receiving well-deserved industry acclaim.

Coming together to form a professional Band back in 2000, the collaborative efforts of The Proper Lovers were born out of a strong desire to make a living doing what they loved the most: playing music.
RIVER WATTS
Lead Singer
River Watts has been with The Proper Lovers from the start. As the Lead Singer, River Watts takes on quite a lot of responsibility, from fine-tuning the musical arrangements to assisting other members with perfecting performances.
JESSE NEIMUS
Guitarist
A Band wouldn't be complete without its Guitarist. The Proper Lovers couldn’t have asked for a greater talent than Jesse Neimus, who plays an instrumental role in the success and musical progression of the group.
MORGAN JAMES
Drummer
Morgan James is truly a shining star. Crowds always love seeing the band in full performance mode, and The Proper Lovers couldn’t be happier to have such an incredible Drummer up on stage and in the studio.
